Skilled Migration Visas

Whether you’re inside or outside Australia, SkillSelect is an online application process used by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection to manage Australia’s skilled migration program. Skilled workers and business people interested in migrating to Australia will be considered for a skilled visa after submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect.

All EOI’s are considered and those successful are issued with an invitation to apply for the visa they have expressed an interest in. SkillSelect covers the subclass 189, subclass 190 and subclass 489 skilled visas as well as the subclass 132 and the subclass 188 business visas. The subclass 485 Skilled Graduate visa is not part of SkillSelect, but is also a skill based visa and for that reason we have included the Subclass 485 visa in this section.
